Content Writer

The Content Writer role is a contributor role on our Professional Services team. This role is responsible for developing content assets to support all mediums and author marketing assets including blogs, articles, and advertising messaging. This is a great opportunity to work on a variety of mediums supporting the written, visual, and spoken word for enterprise and mid-market manufacturers with amazing innovations. The ideal candidate can extract and communicate how unique product innovations impact our everyday lives, produce compelling content work product for multiple mediums, and engage with a variety of audience personas.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with professional services team leaders to determine the conceptual and content direction for campaigns and performance goals across multiple brands.
  • Produce, edit, and deliver content that’s compelling, easy to understand, on-brand, leverages SEO best practices, and backed by data and research.
  • Author content to support advertising campaigns as well as long-form copy like white papers, blogs, and other content types.
  • Support interviews with subject matter experts (engineers and other technical departments/contacts).
  • Learn technical concepts and communicate in a way that is engaging and understood by the intended audience.
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy of written material including copy for white papers, technical guides, case studies, websites, blogs, press releases, video scripts and overlays, email newsletters, social media, advertisements, brochures, corporate communications, and any project that requires copy development.
  • On-page content modification using information in collaboration with SEO leader.
  • Support implementing, managing, and maintaining guides, systems, and processes that drive efficiency and effectiveness including editorial calendars, content plans, content audits/inventories, style guides, analytics, etc.

Your Required Education and Professional Experience

  • A creative thinker and excellent tactician who rolls up their sleeves to get things done, with at least 3+ years of experience effective content writing
  • A confident communicator who can engage and deliver in a myriad of settings
  • Experience achieving measurable business objectives with content
  • Direct or indirect B2B manufacturing experience a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Public Relations, or related communications field
