Senior Account Manager

The Senior Account Manager plays a key leadership role managing select client engagements, their customer experience and their engagement expectations. The successful candidate has successfully managed mid-market and enterprise client relationships for both brand and demand generation marketing programs and projects. The ideal candidate has agency experience managing multiple accounts and have built long-lasting relationships.

The Senior Account Manager role is the first point of contact and is engaged throughout the entire account lifecycle. The role ensures that clients' business goals are achieved, expectations managed throughout and that clients have an exceptional customer experience. The role collaborates with Project Management and Professional Services team leaders to ensure that all deliverables and performance metrics meet or exceed growth goals. The Senior Account Manager is expected to be a dynamic leader that embraces creativity, innovation and the ability to make decisions confidently.

Your Role & Responsibilities:

Client Management

  • Direct and lead clients through their engagement lifecycle
  • Build deep long-lasting relationships built on integrity, results and connection
  • Serve as the primary point for client interactions and touch points
  • Communicate, coordinate and manage expectations of program activities, timelines, and deliverables
  • Deliver engagement status updates, key deliverables and performance reports
  • Facilitate and clarify client feedback demonstrating client advocacy
  • Assist with identifying and securing opportunities that achieve client growth

Program Management

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure program activities align with strategy and engagement deliverables
  • Coordinate with project management team for resource coordination
  • Assess and clarify client needs and requests to your internal team and facilitate responses
  • Review and ensure deliverables meet or exceed client expectations
  • Understand and effectively communicate both client and internal program goals

  • 4+ years of experience within a marketing agency setting or in-house brand
  • A relationship builder who exhibits servant leadership
  • An out-of-the-box problem solver that has an outward mindset
  • A collaborator who thrives in a fast paced environment both within the agency as well as with agency partners
  • A confident communicator who can engage and deliver in a myriad of settings with clients and key stakeholders
  • Someone who can think independently, is equipped to make decisions and can adapt to changing environments
  • Experience in delivering client-focused engagements that achieve measurable business objectives
  • Strong analytical skills that can tap into tools to provide quick assessments to clients
  • Direct or indirect B2B manufacturing marketing experience with mid-market and enterprise account
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related discipline
  • B2B marketing agency experience is a plus
