Senior Content Writer

The Senior Content Writer role will deliver high-level concepts across all mediums and author foundational marketing assets along with compelling blogs, articles and advertising messaging. This is a great opportunity to work on a variety of mediums supporting the written, visual and spoken word for enterprise and mid-market manufacturers with amazing innovations. The ideal candidate can extract and communicate how unique product innovations impact our everyday lives, produce compelling content work products for multiple mediums, and engage with a variety of audience personas.

Your Role & Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with professional services team leaders to determine the conceptual and copy direction for campaigns and performance goals across multiple brands
  • Produce, edit and deliver content that’s compelling, easy to understand, on-brand, leverages SEO best practices and backed by data and research
  • Author conceptually driven advertising campaigns as well as long-form copy like white papers, blogs and other content types
  • Coordinate with and interview subject matter experts (engineers and other technical departments/contacts) to develop compelling content that meets objectives
  • Learn complex concepts and communicate the information in a way that is engaging and understood by the intended audience
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy of written material including copy for white papers, technical guides, case studies, websites, blogs, press releases, video scripts and overlays, email newsletters, social media, advertisements, brochures, corporate communications, and any project that requires copy development
  • Revising and optimizing dated content using information gathered from SEO research
  • Modify or redevelop content in response to leadership or client feedback
  • Help implement, manage, and maintain guides, systems, and processes that drive efficiency and effectiveness: editorial calendars, content plans, content audits/inventories, style guides, analytics, etc
  • Partner with leadership by participating in strategy discussions, internal process reviews, and fostering cross-segment alignment

Your Required Education and Professional Experience

  • A creative thinker and excellent tactician who rolls up their sleeves to get things done, with at least 5+ years of experience within an agency setting or in-house B2B brands
  • A confident communicator who can engage and deliver in a myriad of settings
  • A subject matter expert in aspects of branding, marketing and sales content
  • Experience achieving measurable business objectives with content
  • Direct or indirect B2B manufacturing experience
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Public Relations or related communications field
