Project Manager | Hybrid in Charlotte, NC
The Project Manager is a key role at Crafted on the Project Management team that sets the stage for how we plan our team and activate client work. From discovery and planning to resourcing and reporting, this role is essential to the organization. In this role, you'll maintain and optimize our waterfall workflow to deliver strategy, brand, creative, content, development, and demand generation programs for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Own the process and workflow for work products, assets, and information across internal agency contacts, clients, and third-party vendors.
- Partner closely with the Account Management team and practice area leads to plan, execute, and launch initiatives that support consistent client satisfaction and high-quality deliverables.
- Maintain a high-level view of deliverables, team and individual work styles, and client needs to identify opportunities for optimization.
- Create project plans for brand marketing and demand generation programs.
- Support and participate in delivering strategy-focused work for clients.
- Align project teams around weekly client priorities and collaborate with the Account Management team on expectation management.
- Manage project tasks and resource allocation across multiple projects in Jira, including multidisciplinary teams of at least 15 people.
- Use AI-assisted project management tools and practices, where appropriate, to support project planning, meeting documentation, workflow visibility, risk identification, reporting, and resource coordination while following Crafted’s confidentiality, data security, and client requirements.
- Lead internal meetings with Account Services and Professional Services team members.
- Support project scoping for business development opportunities.
- Balance workflow within budget, timeline, scope, and quality expectations.
- Document approaches for each phase of work to support the client process. Continually help evolve the Project Management Office to improve planning and execution.
Requirements
- 5+ years of digital and marketing project management experience in an agency environment, including managing multiple complex client engagements for middle-market and/or Fortune 500 clients.
- Experience coordinating resources and workflows across multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong understanding of integrated agency operations and core disciplines, including account management, strategy, creative, UX, content, paid media, analytics, technology, finance, and quality assurance.
- Proficiency with project management, financial analysis, data management, and related business tools, including project management platforms (e.g., Jira, Microsoft Project, or similar), Microsoft Excel, CRM systems, time-tracking applications, and AI-enabled productivity tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, problem-solving, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience required.
- B2B agency experience is a plus.
