The Challenge

Okuma America Corporation established a partnership program in 2007 with 24 founding partners. The partnership was designed to provide a relationship as well as a physical space for companies to test and showcase their products and services with Okuma machines. Okuma enlisted Crafted to plan and design what that space should look like. How do you create a sandbox or platform that has room for 50+ brands to live and operate? By putting the partners front and center.

The Result

We designed a solution that created a hierarchy for a number of brands to co-exist as well as solution that created value for each individual brand. Each partner can utilize the space for collaborations and business opportunities. The lobby showcases the brands, the partnership and a geographical representation of the partners. This space informs the public about the partnership program and the value it holds, but also serves as a showroom for events, collaborations and more.
